When will it arrive?

Delivery takes 5–10 business days from payment to UK addresses. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Royal Mail delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed; postal delays may occur. Order by 30 November for delivery before Christmas.

How much is postage?

UK postage is £2.95 per order. We currently offer delivery to UK addresses only.

Can you post it straight to a grandchild?

Yes. Give their address at checkout and it arrives addressed to them, from the North Pole.

Can I return it?

Each letter is made to order with your chosen name, so personalised letters cannot be returned simply because you change your mind. If your order is damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, email info.pearlandpen@gmail.com so we can put it right. Your statutory rights are unaffected. See the ordering information for non-personalised extras.

I spelled their name wrong. What now?

Email info.pearlandpen@gmail.com as soon as you notice a mistake, quoting your order reference. We can change personalisation only before printing, so please check spelling carefully before paying.

How we use your details

Pearl and Pen is responsible for the personal information used by Christmas Letters. We use the child’s name and any achievements you choose to share to make your letter, and your contact and delivery details to process payment, post the order and answer questions. Please share only the details needed for the letter.

Payment is handled securely by Stripe; we do not receive your card number. Our hosting service stores order details privately. Our email provider sends order and support notifications, including the personalisation and delivery details, to the small team fulfilling your order. Delivery details are also shared with the postal service to deliver your order. Personalisation is not saved in your browser storage or used for marketing.

We keep order details for fulfilment, customer support and required business records. Abandoned personalisation drafts are checked for deletion after 30 days; we retain them while payment status is uncertain. You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information by emailing info.pearlandpen@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The classic letter is £12 and includes the child’s name. The £15 personalised letter also includes up to three achievements. Both include a named Nice List certificate and your chosen red or almond envelope with a tartan liner and wax seal. Optional Elf Dust is £1.50 and a matching Christmas list is £2.50. UK postage is £2.95 per order. All prices are in pounds sterling; no VAT is added. LETTER10 takes 10% off products, excluding postage. The full total is shown before payment.

Check your choices and spelling before paying. You can edit the form before continuing to Stripe, and return to it before completing payment. Payment is taken in full; we accept your order when payment succeeds. Keep your payment receipt and order reference. Delivery takes 5–10 business days from payment (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Royal Mail delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed; postal delays may occur. We deliver to UK addresses only. Order by 30 November for delivery before Christmas.

Personalised letters are made to your specifications and are excluded from change-of-mind cancellation and returns. Please contact us promptly if you need a correction before printing. For separately purchased non-personalised extras, you can notify us within 14 days of delivery that you wish to cancel, then return them within a further 14 days. You pay change-of-mind return postage; we refund the item price and any standard outward delivery charge due by law within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of posting. Email us for return instructions before posting. These limits do not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described; contact us so we can arrange the appropriate remedy.
